It's a street, yes! I've never been to the Fire Station before. Do you get a lot of fires to fight?

So far, naw. Mostly just been makin' sure everything's in top shape.

I've only been 'round these parts for about a month, so if there've been fires in th' past, I ain't seen it.

Oh...that's a good thing though! It would be bad if something caught fire, especially if there were people there.

[She looks around some more from her seat inside the fire engine.] What does this thing do?

Oh, it's a vehicle that carries around a large tank of water for puttin' out fires.

[Gesturing up toward the roof.]

It's also got a ladder for reachin' up to multi-story buildings for rescuin' people or gettin' inside a burnin' buildin' from above. An' we also carry some other necessary equipment on board, too. Like them fire axes over there.

Oh wow, it's got all sorts of things! I bet you could save everyone with one of these.

[So excited! She's leaning dangerously far out the window just to look at everything.]

[That's just what the town needs. Shirou Emiya as a firefighter. Gat does chuckle at the notion, though.]

Well, I reckon we could, if this were any other town.

[Seriously, he's half-expecting the Milkman to take over as fire chief and then bomb the town with incendiary milk, after the business last month. Though that train of thought is derailed when he sees Viki poking all the way out of a window.]

[And as she says this she reaches up, up, up in an attempt to look at the roof....and slips.]

[Luckily this just leaves her flailing halfway through the window. Or is that unluckily?]

[Oh crap. Well, he tried to warn her! Gat hurries over and tries to pick Viki up by her waist, and pull her away from the window.]

[Viki allows herself to be pulled back, looking no worse for wear and only slightly startled.]

I was speakin' more about th' vehicles around town, generally. Th' cars and trucks. Not just this here fire engine.

Oh...well, I've seen those car things on the street before! But I've never been in one before.

'S'what I thought. They didn't have anythin' like 'em back in your world, I figure.

There were ships and carriages and dragons! I'd like to ride a dragon someday.

[The thought brings a smile to her face.]

Heh. Personally I ain't ever met a dragon that wasn't a mean cuss.

I uh—I meant th' dragons I've usually faced were th' hostile, rampagin' type. Never met a docile one.

Oohhh. There's hostile rampaging ones where I'm from too! Or at least there's hostile ones. I don't think I've ever met one myself. But Futch has his very own dragon! It's big and white and friendly.

[Gat allows himself a slight smile.]
